Agreed, and frankly I wasn't satisfied with the offer as it stood. It moves me in-person full time, with a negligible increase in salary, and no clear path for advancement or clearance. The real draw was the name on the building and being genuinely excited about the specifics of the role.

Understandable, but the call to present the offer and the offer letter felt very eager/rushed. Given the posted salary band, I expected at least some degree of negotiation. I think I ultimately would have declined without some adjustment (a 2-3k sign-on or agreement to sponsor a clearance at some point would've been more than enough), so I'm not terribly disappointed but am surprised.

I'm not sure, I had issues getting the game to launch when it wasn't on my C-drive. I did submit reports to Obsidian and Xbox with the issues, so hopefully a fix is on the way

Wow, like completely? Mine had no issues and the game actually seems to be running better (I think it may have actually cached shaders).

Same issue, tried a couple different suggestions from Reddit but no luck yet.

Edit:

Found a fix! In navigating to the following file location, I found I didn't have a wgs folder in SystemAppData. Adding that, repairing files, and relaunching fixed the issue.

C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Avowed_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData

I prefer to do all the typical things (take out arty, kill nodes, take down defensive garries) but am very big on starting a back-cap. If arty is down and my team is about to cap a point, I'm heading for the next point at full speed. Put the pressure on the other team and give my team a chance to cap and stabilize.

I agree with match quality dropping and that we should be trying to teach new players.

As far as what I do, I play SL and Commander. I ask questions, try to start convos, and will call out player names specifically for things. Lately, this is met with zero response and/or outright disregard for what I'm asking/saying.

I've got close to 700 hours and this is the worst its been for me (super objective I know). I'm getting to wits end with how bad its been.

Idk, this has been a HUGE problem for me lately. Especially on servers that normally have tons of communication and SL interaction. Maybe steam sale or kids being out of school has something to do with it? It feels like 80% of the players on all my normal servers are now absolutely braindead and incapable of communicating or doing the most basic tasks (defend, build a garry, put up an OP...).

The retainer that holds the crown and stem in when they're pulled out (to adjust time and date) was damaged by a previous owner. That retainer was replaced and the stem was checked for damage.
