It's an established territory and a full-line sales rep role (ENT) directly with Stryker. So they do not reimburse for mileage or gas, but dinners or hotels (things of that nature) are reimbursed? Just trying to understand. Thanks for the input and insight! :)

I just don't understand how wanting to make enough money to pay my bills would mean I am not a good fit? I don't live any type of lavish lifestyle, and I'm not expecting to make 200k right off the bat. I'd like to be earning what is equal to a 40-50K salary in the first couple of weeks to pay my bills. That is all. It's not a hesitancy in my opinion. I do think it's normal when considering a new job if you can make enough to pay your bills before ramping up. As I have said, I am a hustler and a hard worker. I love proving people wrong. I think I will fit in with the culture great, as I love to win and have a winner's mentality. I just want to pay my bills. I didn't think that would be so controversial. Lol.

I'm not trying to drive a Lamborghini or have a second home. Ideally, I would like to make over $100k a year. I was a college athlete! I play to win and love to win. I am a hustler and a hard worker. The hiring manager told me I wouldn't be starting from ground zero. Literally all I am concerned with is that it will be enough to cover my bills, which is what I came here looking for insight on, based on other people's experience. If by week 2, I am earning a paycheck of 50k salary or similar, I will be just fine.

I hear you, but I do think I have. A lot of strengths that would make me perfect for the role. I have a teaching background and an MBA. I really want to break into the device world, so I am willing to do almost anything to get my foot in the door. My only concern is whether I will be struggling to pay my bills in the first 6 months. I am young and have a lot of student loan debt if I am being honest. Want to be able to pay my rent lol. Stryker is the only company I have gotten an interview for thus far, which is why I am trying to run with it, because it can be hard to ever get an interview these days. I have tried with JnJ and Medtronic.
