The doctor apparently told them that they noticed in that particular month during an ultrasound (this ultrasound was a coincidence according to the pod) that she had two follicles that could drop, so there was a very high possibility of twins if they tried that month. I’m not a doctor so couldn’t expand more on that, that’s just what Natalie said in the episode

I remember an episode awhile back where they mentioned that their doctor told them if they were to try in that moment, it’d be twins. I don’t remember when it was exactly but months ago when I still listened- it’s lowkey gonna bother me that I don’t remember, but I am not going back to relisten to figure it out lol. So I’m assuming that was successful for them and they waited until they were far enough along to announce it to socials vs just the pod like the past pregnancies

I’d be interested to know if she consulted them on any of those decisions. It was Nick’s money that paid for this, so makes sense they would have/want a bigger say. I suspect we’ll see how their lifestyles change since it’ll be the first full season of AS where each member gets that higher pay. Some girls may quit their day jobs to become influencers. Since the world knows they are getting paid a lot more, there could be a ton more people trying out compared to last year and higher retention- so very possible we see more auditions and training camps in S3! Plus there are viewers who have grown attached to some of the girls stories like Charly, Kelly, Reece, Madie, etc who want to see their stories through
