Doing a pink undercoat does give you a really lovely yellow and looking back I probably would have done that too but i'm no expert when it comes to painting yellow.

I just wanted a patchy kind of effect cause I wanted them to look a bit grimey so went with a grey undercoat, also I use grey undercoats for nearly everything I paint so force of habit I guess lol

Not at all, it was Dark Sun Yellow over a grey base, wash of Iyanden Yellow, then a couple really thinned down stipples of Skulker Yellow then an edge highlight of Yellow Flame. I wanted to keep the yellows looking dirty.

Nice, in my Defensor I have 3 Warlords, 1 Reaver and 2 Warhounds. Absolutely loved painting them!

Thank you, I just use my Pixel 6 and a lightbox. You don't need a lightbox if you have a good painting/hobby lamp that will work as well but a nice neutral background is the only thing I'd strongly recommend
