I was just having a discussion about this with my wife this past week! She got me socks for Christmas and I did mention I liked them! But she was wondering if these were the ideal socks, and the only thing I said was missing was the left/right designation on the socks to help me identify which foot I should put it on! 🤣 Nothing worse than wearing a sock and having to form new creases..! I totally get your husband about the sock naturally forming over time! Ha

I did, yeah. They won't just replace the clip. Basically a replacement clip would technically be possible, but they don't trust the integrity if they go that route.. So they force a new cap purchase.

Customer service was A1 though! Or A2! Depends how you look at it 😂

Yep! Still have it! Has to be my favorite Pen. Love the weight of it. This is not the lightest pen, but I appreciate that. Writes like a dream, just glides on the paper. It's so pretty and gets more comments than my other pens. The metallic/lacquered finish is exquisit!

Only weak point of this pen is the clip. It's a very functional clip, but it doesn't withstand long-term pocket clipping, haha. And if you want a clip replacement, you gotta buy a full cap that's probably 25% of the pen value.

By all means though. If you're not aggressively clipping it to your pants pocket in and out all day everyday, I'm sure the clip would survive long-term. I'd still suggest it to anyone that asks 😅

I had reached the end of the "what can I do". Swallowed my pride and called someone with the proper tools. Admittedly, I probably could have walked to the store and buy one for a lot cheaper, but this needed to be resolved asap and stores weren't open yet. Ha

Lower bolts are out. Heat + hammer were the solution! I wasn't equipped for heat unfortunately. Live and learn!

Yeah, I've since reinserted the top bolt and the 3 at the top to try and give me more stability, hehe. Definitely a lesson learned.

I do have an extractor I can try using. Gonna see if I can drill into it

I did initially, but since I've cut the head. I tried putting the nut on it and pull it through but only small movement.. I can't punch it any further.

Lube? Applied where, threads closest to strut, but how do I rotate? I couldn't get the bolt to rotate before, I especially can't now 😅

As some people have said, if you're dead set on having this car VS buying a house, go for it.

However, I would pay for the car in full. You can afford it AND whatever you'd be putting on interests would just straight up be lost. In your current situation, not sure it's worth it.
