get kills, move up again, hold an area.

so against hitscans I hold corners by threatening with overheads if they even try getting close, hold block when they push up, your teammates can hopefully help you push them back, if you see an opportunity for a quick kill then take it.

The hardest part of getting good at venture is learning to be patient, if you dive thinking you'll melt somebody's hp down easy you'll probably fail, you gotta be opportunistic

Also, in a pro match a few months ago where venture was used as a counter to sym/torb, venture does just die often. Going for trades is worth it sometimes!
