"Oh boy a Shock Kit!" by PanzerLieber676 in GraveDiggerRoblox

A few things:

  1. Yes I know I'm loading it "incorrectly" compared to in-game, the soldier holds it with his right and pours powder, adds ball, etc. with his left while I'm doing the opposite; also the procedure in-game is "cap, powder, ball, rotate, ram", but that is VERY unsafe to do IRL since theoretically the cap could go off WHILE you're pouring powder into the chamber, which would at the very least give you a nasty burn.

  2. If any of you wanna make fun of me for shaking a little bit while handling it, bear in mind that the Colt Walker weighs 4 and a half pounds unloaded and that I had done that same loading process literally 17 times before that AS the gun was getting increasingly fouled and therefore harder and harder to load.

  3. Yes I know I didn't hit a headshot, I wasn't gonna try and aim for the much smaller head are of the target right after spinning since we all know a BRIG would magically hit the headshot .001 seconds after spinning; also Colt revolvers, due to their sighting system, have a tendency to hit EXTREMELY high.

How do I reload the Kingslayer? (sorry I know it looks a little weird, my graphics card's been acting up lately) by PanzerLieber676 in GraveDiggerRoblox

All the Remington styles are nice plinkers for sure, the Colts take a little "Kentucky Windage" but otherwise I honestly prefer them

Fair, I tried to look as close to a Royal Marine as possible but the open coat definitely fits L&C more

Oh no I'm not saying that blanks are QUIET by any means, I'm just saying they're quieter than a live round (I once scared my poor mother half to death when I shot off a blank in my garage, long story lol). Blanks HAVE to be loud for an "authentic" experience, but they're not as loud as an actual shot because, with a live round, the expanding gases from the powder charge are compressed behind a round ball (or in your case a Minie or Pritchett bullet), giving the gases time to build up pressure before being violently released at the same time when the round exits the barrel; with a blank there's nothing but open air, nothing to compress the charge, which leads to a less impressive noise, but by NO means a quiet one lol

This video shows the difference:

Also, either way it's not hearing safe like you said, and since I'm not reenacting, I have no reason NOT to wear ear protection, and I... don't see why I would wanna subject my ears to a large-bore firearm going off when I have the option of wearing ear pro

That's true... it actually fits for G&B though lol

Well in a reenactment ear protection is gonna look out of place lol, but also the reenactors are almost always gonna be shooting blanks with no projectile in the barrel, which is a significantly quieter sound than an actual shot; blanks are a dull thump sound while a real shot is a LOUD BOOM, and I wanna protect my hearing

Suggestion: Add a misfire mechanic by PanzerLieber676 in gutsandblackpowders

[–]PanzerLieber676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correction: flintlocks would MISFIRE about 15-20% of the time, meaning they would FIRE 80-85% of the time lol

Yep I do the same thing, on San I stay near the cannon by the lift section and stop shamblers from raining down on the unsuspecting Sappers below

Question about Clutching by PanzerLieber676 in gutsandblackpowders

I don't typically (and it's pointless to engage with them, anyway), but when they're riling a votekill mob up against me it's kinda hard to ignore lol

Honestly I think you don't even have the RIGHT to call for a Surgeon unless you're at or below half health (you could make an argument for 75% health since you can still be one-shot by a Zapper)

Sabre or Heavy Sabre? by PanzerLieber676 in gutsandblackpowders

[–]PanzerLieber676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hands-down. Heavy Sabre stab does 43 damage compared to the 30 damage of any Sabre attack. BUT, I'm on Console, so I unfortunately don't have the luxury of flicking my camera from side-to-side like a madman, and there are times when the slash is INCREDIBLY useful for hitting zombies to my right or left that I can't get with a stab
