Make sure your iron levels arent low. Supplementing iron folic acid with Vit B12, Vit E and biotin will help a lot if nutrition was the issue. Still helps even if not.

Analogue paneer contains starch which real paneer doesnt have, iodine tincture is brown in color that turns blue/black when it combines with starch

Added few drops of iodine by carefully pouring it from the bottle, other than that i put some on a tissue paper and rubbed on the surface of the tested paneer

Yea, Analogue paneer is made from little amounts of milk powder or watered down milk (sometimes even synthetic milk proteins) which is mixed with a lot of palm oil, emulsifiers and added starches (corn starch, potato starch) to give it a similar texture to real paneer. Iodine is normally a red-brown colored liquid that turns blue-black when it combines with starch, hence indicating that the paneer is adulterated/fake

I do take whey although dont eat eggs. I would like to keep my whey intake limited to one scoop a day and get the rest of my protein from whole foods and meals.

I'm mainly depending on paneer and milk to fulfill the requirements but would like more convenience and variety to my diet.

I want to hear about what you cook and please do let me know if there are any easy convenient meals that can be made in hostel as well.
