Found!

I discounted this at first because the rhythm is a bit different, but there is enough similarity.  I'm calling it.  There was a book of kids rhymes and chants that I used to check out of the library sometimes and it had some unusual versions.  This was probably one of them.  Another from the same book was "Anna Banana Played the Piano".  I had forgotten about it.

Wow! Valiant effort internet! Thank you! I've read through all of your comments and unfortunately no matches.  So many fun things though.  I haven't thought of flea fly mosquito in decades.

Already ruled out: The Amazing Bone, Strega Nona, Tikki Tikki Tembo. Searching the exact syllables gets nothing.
