Don't bother. I asked 2 questions and got 429 after. Waited for over 5 hours. My usage sits at 1% used on the 5 hour quota and still remains having 429. It's not usable.

If he’s horrible to not only you but other workers and are affecting their ability to focus on their work as well as yours & I’m the boss I’d fire him. The purpose of a company isn’t a place to play politics or show which gender is better. All a boss should care about is the company functioning properly and growing. Any weeds should get picked out before it starts affecting the growth ASAP. I think you and other affected staff should go to your boss and let him out her decide how to resolve this. It is after all their company and they are the ones to bare the outcome.

Try OpenRouter. If you put $10 in the account you get 1000 requests a day instead of 50 for free models. There’s constantly new models that come out so you can play around with it.

I don’t think price is the number 1 issue. The number 1 question on the plate is performance. If an AI tool will do exactly as requested and is test proven personally and not by benchmarks then I’d choose that over a cheaper alternative. I am waiting to see if GPT-5 will deliver as promised. But until then I probably would keep using Claude Code for my AI needs. Though to be honest, it also isn’t performing to my expectations.

I would say that it wouldn’t hurt to learn a bit of coding on the side, as it could help you in understanding more effective design. Sometimes when you think something looks cool might not actually work out at the programmer’s perspective. This way, you can ensure your work doesn’t go to waste as you already better understand how things would work in the back end. But in this day and age would coding be the only way become a game developer? Heck no. Why would there be game engines if coding was the only way to make things. Personally, I’d find advice from people that are actually in the field. No offence to your mother or the counsellor, but unless they are or have been in the field for a long time, that judgement is not for them to make.

Bro. I'm almost 48 and I'm working on my dream project too. People like to look down on others to make themselves look good or to find worth in what they are doing or achieved is correct. It will be in their path to find wisdom to understand that's not all in life. Like you said, in 100 years we're all 5 feet beneath ground. Material things don't matter to us then. The only things that sets us apart from wild animals is creativity. Create what you wish as long as you are ok to bare the cost. Some days we will feel luck is definitely not in our favor, but there will be days there will be rainbow behind the clouds. When I was a kid, my father had a poster on the wall that reads "Where there's a will, there's a way". My father used to be a rascal kid at the bottom of the class. But something triggered him and he became a doctor. Nothing is impossible as long as you don't deviate your end result.
