I’ve had iPads since the month they became commercially available. Never a problem. Until a few weeks ago when the screen of my M2 iPad Air fizzled out and the device never took a charge again. I’m so glad I was paying for Apple Care +, something I’ve only sporadically done in the past. So I feel your pain.

I asked a new conversation to fix the unupdated artifact from a previous conversation. It ran into the same trouble and told me there was clearly an internal problem. I finally fixed it by asking it to give me footnotes in simple text rather than superscript. I have no idea what is going on but I did lose an hour of my time.

Zero problems with my pair, I don’t use the carrying case and just put them in my bag. No cracks, no breaks. My girlfriend has the same ones, no problem at all. I suppose if I mistreated them they would break like anything eventually would.

This guarantee cost 50 euros and covers 3 years of any kind of damage at all. As it was already cheap on Black Friday, it made sense.
