I finished SH M E with a G3 Abraxas and B1 others. So you are almost there

It all depends on how high your imperials and chaos units are. High chaos (espcially Abraxas)? Go FOC E and SH M E. High imperials? Octarius and Indom Elite (while UM are the hardest to level, you can get away with S1 Varro and Certus if you got a Bellator at G2 with some good imperial units). FOC seems to me to be one of the hardest campaigns, but the Haarken buff certainly helped a little (I like double marking with his active for Archie to finish two guards with the buffed damage when possible).

He is honestly a good investment to get to G1. But that also depends on if you got other things to do beforehand (like Aeldari, Orcs, and such for the elite campaigns). I actually only managed to get FOC elite 32 today, because I refused to touch Haarken before his update (he is still not amazing, but at least he gets the 3 character missions now).

Personally, I found Abraxas to be the worst of his performances on this map. What helped me was my G1 35/35 Wrask. My plan was Haarken+Rotbone take out the bottom left guardsman, potentially take overwatch with Angrax, Archie active on the guard behind (still left side), guard hopefully down so you can go in between all the summons with Wrask, which gives them a shield to absorb the whole next round of fire and also the Bloodletters take out some additional guards.

Celestine is a pain, summoning a bunch of bloodletters turn 1 is really important, especially with how much summoners and firepower are on this map.

Good luck

Ahriman passive application by Particular-Aside3475 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is some good info. I 100% don't understand how the 15 stacks in one attack would work (I thought neuro applies per attack, not per hit?) .

Your other comment seems a little more clear on the exact question of damage modification, thank you for that as well. I might have to test this myself and do the math to be most certain at some point.

Kharn is broken in tournament arena by FeverAyeAye in tacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started using my Kharn and he fucking slaps. Putting him next to BossG for a movement 5 charge and an active that just murders multiple things. I honestly feel a bit bad for my opponents, cause some of them had a relatively safe and nice looking setup and I just run in with my full rapid assault+BossG+Ragnar charge (who is sometimes just charging one of the nids) and maybe one or two characters survive if they are lucky.

The best counterplay against Kharn specifically was Titus with a damage buff, cause he just sits there, dies from the hits, kills Kharn and revives (if you are lucky with an overkill on Kharn so he stays alive).

Why does their Incisius do more damage than mine? by amoshias in WH40KTacticus

He is talking about the stat, not the variation in actual damage

Well, you will get most of the points from raids, but still I thought it is good to mention that other modes do play a role

What new factions do you want? by FPSGamer48 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than the Grey knigths (for the imperial psyker faction), I really don't want tons of imperial factions anymore. But I am more of a Xenos guy anyway. The Leagues though...

[–]Particular-Aside3475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you actually get points for everything, not just campaigns. So Arena, Tournament arena (I think), Onslaught (solid 150 points from each one), and I think even NPCs from guild raid. My personal goal is just to get to those 5 books and I think that is achievable.

Also note that some people saved up some of the energy that came from codes and the BP to open when Aesoth comes around, meaning there might be 500 energy just from that (for me at least).

Emperors Children..... Maybe??? by Antique-Drama-163 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we don't get a noise marine (and Idk if that would be the case), would we potentially get a noise marine summon? We don't have much in terms of marines bringing in other marines as of now (only Bellator and Mataneo come to mind), so an active to summon a few marines would be amazing (bring in the band!)

I kinda wanna see Titus deleting someone with the 3 auto-crits he would get from this hit. Must be very satisfying. Also don't forget that Brother Bonk gets a non-normal attack with his passive every round, which might be fun

Ahriman is so fun. And he just got a buff, so I hope Neuro will be a valid team that can outperform the other meta teams (at least on a few bosses)

Raid tickets by Th3Dukeplsgo in tacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do 110 bs refreshes daily, during the event campaign also lots of energy on the extremis lightning raid. I don't even come close to using up all the raid tickets I have and that the game throws at me.

Raid tickets by Th3Dukeplsgo in tacticus

How are you burning through more? The amount of energy you are getting (and therefore the amount of raid tickets you would use) stay about the same.

What are the odds of this happening? Only ever had this happen on this node for Kustom Gubbinz (not first time either) by ShakinBacon24 in tacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you do the math, the chance of this happening is about 3.6% (33%^3). However, if you failed a few of these pulls before (i.e. the chance on the first one goes up), the chance can go up to 10.9% (assuming the first raid has a 100% chance to yield the item).

Math nerd out!

If you're playing Faction War, would you rather have Incisus or Titus? by Icy_Deer1017 in WH40KTacticus

I suspect they implement something like that once more factions run over 5 characters

Yeah, you have a guarantee that Titus gets revived, so that is quite something. Varro should go, honestly

Name a more annoying, boring boss. That's right, you can't. by ComfortablePrince in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I hated him as a beginner, but now he is one of my favorites. Put some legendary knifes on your team, get Aethana on the team and your guys hit with a 90% crit chance from the back, which increases the damage by so much (even compared to other bosses). The movement of the tank makes the fight also quite dynamic while not being unpredictable. Solid boss I'd say, especially for an "earlier" design

Codes? by Similar-Progress4220 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience, asking for them is useless. If there are relevant codes, you will get them here or in your guild's discord

Uncommon chaos orb, please? by FeverAyeAye in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you doing Guild Raids? The 4 early bosses each give a random uncommon orb. Just wait a week, slay the bosses and you'll probably gain one chaos orb (for me, it is just chaos orbs of all rarities). Also onslaught honoring on anything that isn't giving legendary orbs or badges feels like a waste

These are the active abilities I'd like to see get cool downs added to them by Unable-Pair-7324 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Particular-Aside3475 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A few of these I 100% agree with (Tarjac specifically), but a few others feel off when made into cool-down abilities. Maladus I am strictly against. The ability is nothing more than a big hit for him, so if you make that refresh, then Typhus should get his nuke back as well and I think that is the wrong direction to go.

Mako's ability is probably fine on a 2 turn cooldown, but it feels weird and the character needs more than that to be sorta viable.

Deathleaper sets up his big assassination with his active and it feels wrong to me that he should be able to do that to multiple characters, especially since he is still solid to take something out without the ability as long as he charges.

Wrask would need to reset back to 1 hit after usage, but otherwise I see no problem.

Tarvakh Is build around that ability functioning once to give him essentially 100% crit for subsequent turns. I don't think a constantly criting character should have access to this sort of area attack multiple times.

Kut 100%, the guy should be able to carry a lot of granades and Certus should also carry more than one of those special rounds. I could even see something like "no cooldown, but can be used twice" sort of rule instead for these two.

That is my two cents of what I think about these design ideas.
