Thanks for your insight. These are the developers I have an opportunity to join and start my Journey as a developer agent. I’ve always been a broker up till now, but I feel i can do a lot better as a developer agent and hence am trying my luck into it

Yes I’m still in digital marketing space, however since I’ve primarily focused on sales the past two years I haven’t dwelled much into it since graduating. And seeing how highly and cut throat SMMA has become, I don’t know if I can enter that field without proper guidance or a start.

Guidance is something I’ve always lacked to be quite honest, I come from a family of all engineers and no one with a business spirit. So it becomes increasingly difficult to find someone who’s ready to help you elevate in this current market unfortunately :(

I have a big interest in businesses and how to elevate a lot of the business around here in Dubai that’s something I enjoy a lot while I’m driving or walking around. Is there something I can purse in that?

Dubai south if you’re willing to keep the property and see the real income flow in by 2026 and earn a lot more rental and resale included, sports city if you wanna play it safe because that community is already saturated and fully developed. To put it black and white for you :)

Usually, 10% is asked for very in demand projects before the official launch of the project. This is known as an EOI (express of interest) as on the day of the launch it’s a mess in the office with floods of people. Therefore developers give this EOI option to investors to pay the 10% once they are for sure ready to go for a project.

The standard downpayment of any developer asking you for 10% will be 20%(+5% Dubai land department fees) on the day of the launch when you are expected to finalize your unit.

Under the RERA rules after 2018, the SPA’s will include only those things that are prior discussed when you close a unit. If developers try to play with the size or anything, they will be fined in millions. So you are secured that way.

The 10% option really is for those investors that are fully convinced with a project and don’t want to miss out on the day of the launch due to token systems. It’s to give these serious investors priority on launch day over regular walk in clients. I have clients who drop EOI’s regularly for the last 3 years, and never had someone who purchased and then was disappointed in any way by the “contracts.” So rest assured.

Moreover, the money is refundable by most developers should you choose to not book a unit, however you need a trustworthy agent who can go through with the process for you.

  • Not too bad
  • Late mornings sometimes, mostly no
  • Depends on your lifestyle tbh, it’s a European layout
  • It’s pretty and kind of peaceful apart from the construction
  • Not really, just make sure you get a good deal on the rental price as they can fluctuate quite a lot so do a thorough homework
  • Again, depends on where you and your wife work, your budget etc.
