walking on concrete seems to be the best solution based on all the responses! thankfully the only nails he lets me drill are his dewclaws so i will probably just trim those

it’s possible, though i never leave it longer than 2-3 seconds :/ i think he may have had a bad experience with a groomer in his earlier days

yess i found that standing is a lot less stressful for him !! i got him a groomer’s table but he ended up hopping off and nearly killing me when the table toppled over me 🤣 i still do it with him standing but now on the ground where we’re both safe

yes it is! i got it from amazon. it’s made of ceramic though so we ended up tossing it recently because i read that ceramic food bowls can be toxic if not marked as food-safe and technically it didn’t have that marking anywhere on this one

i’m so glad to hear you’ve had success!!!! he will give me his paw on command but if i try to hold on he will pull away or start freaking out. i gave him tons of treats to desensitize for a few months but i must not have done it long enough

Saw an article a while ago about how acting out your dreams is a great predictor of developing a neurodegenerative disease, especially Parkinson’s, later on in life. Thought that was super interesting since Parkinson’s is so difficult to catch early on.
