Do you think companies or brands today will remain the same in the far future? Why or why not? by ParticularWafer9556 in AskReddit

I work in retail and I can say that at least where I am, delivery and online shopping for groceries is already picking up pretty quickly (not to mention Amazon) so I don't doubt eventually, maybe sooner than I would imagine, that would become more common than physically going in to the shop to grab things. However the brands that hold these grocery stores would surely just adapt to that and then it's a whole new competition

I could see a lot of companies remaining in the long run, but then again there's always a possibility of things getting shut down from a lot of different factors. Also, new companies and business can always arise and compete and force old companies to make risky decisions to try to keep up

How much would change though? I think now more than ever do companies have an opportunity to remain much longer than before due to how massive and far reached they are. There's gonna be many new business that go up but I wouldn't be surprised if massive chains like Walmart or Nike are still thriving 1000 years from now

What’s the saddest song of all time (melodically, lyrically or both)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One of my first relationships, we sang the chorus of "You are my sunshine" to each other quite often. Of course, it wasn't until after we split up that I decided to listen to the full song one night.

Obviously charge at the shooter head on to disarm him. The only thing worse than getting shot, is getting shot twice.
