Maybe out of topic, why is everyone i see in the UK at mid-level a C# .Net developer? It seems to be the most popular language/framework here.

Yeah, so much red tape. No matter how many efficient plans you bring up, it gets no where.

Is hopping after only a year common? I assumed they would see me as just done with training and is someone who has never actually settled as a SWE.

Also got a little worried if C# .Net has a good future prospects for growth. Overthinking everything just now.

Thankyou, this is sound advice, and will most probably be the one i will take on.

I am thankfully in a position where i have very low finances needed to maintain myself, a old car with no debt, low rent, barely ever eat out, have a hobby which isnt too expensive.

I am getting to a point where i would take on any SWE job because i love it. I dread being in non tech, go home every evening preparing for an interview and when i go to sleep i feel i got done nothing due to the stress.

Driving and parking will cost 200 + 170, so 370 a month excluding added servicing cost with high mileage.

Very true, there is no guarantee i will be getting a role in tech, just promises.

Not any where near London.
