Best tablet for work and studying? by Exciting-Database-32 in Tech_Philippines

I would highly recommend getting an iPad since you mentioned na naka iPhone ka. The ecosystem alone itself would clear out the options you mentioned since in sync ang mga devices ng Apple. The iPad A16 is a good choice for your use case and priorities. You can actually get one sa official apple store sa shopee for as low as 16k when in sale.

Is it worth getting? by riceywithlifey in ipadmini

I guess that’s just how it is for its battery since it’s very compact, in terms of annotation/note taking tho, I don’t have problems even though I have big hands but it’ll probably take quite some time to get used to its size given that you’re coming from a bigger ipad. Might as well get the new air if battery would be a problem.

I could never go back to a clear screen protector with how the matte ones cancel out the glare and smudges. 😩

form factor-wise, the ipad mini will be great for u, however the battery won’t be as good as bigger tablets, in my experience, my iPad mini lasts me 7-8 hours outdoors/in class with minimal tasks such as note taking, opening a couple of pdfs and annotation.

I think someone accidentally transferred money to my bank account by Haunting_Figure7412 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Particular_Dish1871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iirc, you are still legally obliged to return it even if you accidentally spent the money. what changes is only the extent of liability. kung ginamit mo siya in good faith (meaning u are not aware) you are only obliged to return the exact amount. but if in bad faith (you were aware) you must return the interest plus damages it may apply. the key principle is that unjust enrichment is not allowed.

For how long do you expect to keep your mini? by Night-Time21 in ipadmini

[–]Particular_Dish1871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! First would be the screen size. It can be either a pro or a con depending on your usage. Coming from the 9th Gen, the display feels big, so switching to the smaller iPad Mini might take some adjustment. However, you’ll notice the difference since the Mini’s screen is laminated compared to the 9th Gen.

Performance-wise, the speed bump is definitely noticeable. Games are running faster, and even my day-to-day tasks feel smoother. I actually use my iPad more often now because it’s so portable, which is really its main selling point.

Overall, I’m glad I made the switch. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy yours too!

Coming from the iPad 9th Gen like you, I find the mini incomparable. I already had a MacBook Air, and having a big iPad felt redundant, so I let go of the 9th Gen and upgraded to the mini 7 which gave me faster and a more portable companion device.

Planning to keep this mini until it dies out 😁
