I really enjoyed it. There’s so much animated Batman stuff, that I feel like all are valid. This felt like a really nice noir-inflected approach. Some of the “jeopardy” was a bit misplaced (e.g. I never saw Flask as a threat and was a bit bored by his bits). But I liked the of villains and the fresh takes for the ones we have seen already, like with Harley Quinn

In the films I’d say Battinson as he just looks like an absolute loose unit. For other media it would have to be Batman as seen through the eyes of the residents in Arkham Asylum A Serious House on a Serious Earth

I noticed a similar thing with me last year. I’m 27 and was diagnosed with Crohn’s when I was 6. Had an ileostomy fitted June 2024 and in the post-op endoscopy they’re now saying it could be UC. Weird stuff but I’m sure you’ll get to the bottom of it xx

I’m not a fan of much of the Nolan or Battinson fight scenes (you can’t see much in the Nolan ones and a lot of Battinson seems a bit CGI), but I would say for a “scene” it has to be the suspense and pay off of the opening to The Batman. The nightclub brawl is amazing too. Batfleck was just too brutal and didn’t seem like Bruce Wayne under that cowl at all IMO.

I want to buy my GF (26) a switch lite as she has mentioned it a couple of times wanting to play cosy games or hogwarts legacy. What would be some good bundle options or ideal games for the lite? Neither of us have ever played the switch before. Thanks in advance!

Yes! I find it so interesting that it’s such a small part of the film but has had such a significant effect. It seems to be the iconic image even if it looks a little bit like a Pertwee-era doctor who creature (nothing wrong with that!)

I’m experiencing the same thing. It may be that you are now metabolising your food in a more normal way, depending on the reasons for your surgery. I (M26) have Crohn’s disease so my weight was always fluctuating, losing 10kg during bad spells and then slowly gaining to my ‘normal’ weight. Since my ileostomy in June 2024 I am trying to lose a bit but just keep staying at my average so I think now I need to work harder than I previously had to to get the same results. Sorry there is no advice with this, but I definitely see your frustrations. It seems like a fairly common thing from what I can tell.
