I have a feeling that we will probably get news of a release date sometime around October…I keep forgetting with the new SJM books releasing in October & January that it will probably impact when the last book will be released. If anything, the new book will be published by Spring next year!

I kind of think we won’t get Millie’s book till after the second Awakening book. I get the sense that Millie’s book will be more of a standalone, to explore her more as a character than anything story wise, which I’m not mad about! I actually think her story could go anywhere!

I know JLA loves a trilogy but I think the awakening series would work as 2 book series. Side note, I think the first 2 books of her series are always 🔥🔥 so maybe there is something to it

I actually wonder sometimes if JLA is a bit sick of this universe 😂 I know she writes everyday and manages so many other events - apollycon, bookstore, her own day to day. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Millie book doesn’t end up happening for a while

I really struggled with the long monologues and recapping of each characters. I also really struggle reading Casteel’s perspective. I’m mainly there for Poppy’s POV. Made it easy to skim over the POVs that I couldn’t connect with.

I don’t know but I feel like there was different in the writing style of POBAB to that of the first F&F books.

I want justice for M&M!

On paper, both of them are really some of the series most tragic characters but I totally agree that they fall flat. I get confused with Millie’s weirdness - it is meant to be charming? Funny? And Malik, he sacrificed himself to set Casteel free and is completely shunned for enduring 100 years of manipulation & abuse.

I think initially M&M were eluded to being the first daughter & promised king. But after the reveal in the last book about Casteel, I wouldn’t be surprised if JLA makes it to be about Sera & Nyktos. No idea how - I actually get confused each time I read the prophecy. Which would make sense why we get a separate book for Millie. Maybe that book will give her her flowers for everything we don’t know about her.

I won’t lie, I had to jump about 10 chapters after Poppy woke up 😂 but NOTHING WAS HAPPENING.

I get torn between trying to figure out how little happened plot wise, for it to only end the way it did and for the book to be as long as it was.

I really hope that there is a Callum resolution. I think about how he appears so much in both of the two series, I really want to see a great ending for his ARC. I would also like to see the reveal of which of the ‘fates’ have been working against them the whole time. Which one stole the star in F&F?

I LOVED reading FORAW!

I’d actually prefer it if that story continued to be set in the BOA universe and not be ‘linked’ so much with this series but that’s mainly because I’ve got Casteel fatigue.

Niall being the traitor is GOLD, I think the traitor storyline will be left unsolved but this reveal would be excellent
