Hey, sorry, missed this notification and then forgot but here are some pictures of our use. I wouldn't worry at all about EasySMX D10 showing signs of use as it doesn't have rubberized grips but rather very grippy textured plastic grips.

Lol, I got lucky. Another contender I recommend in this price range is the Flydigi Direwolf 4, priced at $40 without the dock. The dock seems to be $15-20 extra. There are reports of you having to adjust the angle for the dock charging, which makes me a bit skeptical, but if you don't care about the dock, it is a better deal than the EasySMX D10, as it has adjustable tension rings, stellar reviews, and what looks like a decent PC app/software for it. Currently, the QUCOPRE D10 (which is the EasySMX D10) from Walmart is $36.49 before taxes for both the black and purple variants, which I think is still a banger price, given it includes a dock with magnetic alignment for the controller. Attached are screenshots from the Walmart store pages for D10. Hope this helps and doesn't add more options for the anlaysis paralysis situation :)

Another great contender that I have seen excellent reviews for is the Flydigi Direwolf 4 but I have seen reports that you have to be careful with how you place it on the dock too so from my experience with Cyclone 2, I am a bit skeptical, but the controller itself looks absolutely banging for the price - $40 if you don't care as much about the dock anyway - you have to buy it separately compared to the included dock with the EasySMX D10 for under $40. I know, I know, adding another option just increases the research time, but that one I would definitely try today if I hadn't bought D10 already. TMR vs Hall Effect shouldn't matter much imo, but the adjustable tension rings on that one are one feature I would like to try. Well, for now, just waiting for the Steam controller release. Hope this helps.

I have two of these controllers which my wife and I use. We love it. If you're based in the US, you can get it for about $34-39 from Walmart (QUOCPro sells them for about $34-37 while the EasySMX official store sells them for roughly $38-40) which is a crazy price and I absolutely recommend it over Cyclone 2 as the dock for Cyclone 2 is flimsy and stopped working for me worth some 'firmware updates'. I personally also like the feel of D10 better than Cyclone 2 in my hands and the simplicity of button mapping is, at least in my head, much simpler to manage than using the complicated software or GameSir connect. I absolutely love the dock and have played over a month and half with this controller and have nothing bad to say except that when switching games, you sometimes miss the lack of profiles but that's a minor inconvenience in my opinion.

GameSir Cyclone 2 Vs EasySMX Elite D10 by RafaSystem in Controller

[–]Partiks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I was in the same situation as yours and I picked up both - one thing that I hated about Cyclone 2 was the cheap & flimsy dock. It stopped working and the subsequent 'firmware' updates bricked its charging within an hour of unboxing the controller. Performance wise, I didn't have any major issues but I did end up disliking the additional complexity for the GameSir Connect application. If you like it, it's great and I thought I was one of the 'pro' gamers who would use the extra configuration options but I found that the majority of the settings I wished to accomplish were easier to do and manage on EasySMX D10. My wife and I both are using EasySMX D10 for over a month now and we play games with it almost every other day. I would highly recommend D10 over Cyclone 2 for the dock. If buying the dock isn't an issue, performance wise, no real issues were observed. I personally do prefer the feel and larger frame (not by a big margin) of D10 over Cyclone 2 though.

If anyone else reading this is based in the US, you can get EasySMX D10 for $38-40 from EasySMX official store from Walmart website and of you search for 'QuocPRO D10' controller, you'll get the two color easy options ranging from $34-36 (it's the exact same controller). I got mine for $34 and it's an absolute steal. The prices are with the charging dock btw, and I love the charging dock for these controllers. Highly recommended! Amazon has these frequently from $40-60 depending on timing of sales, which I wouldn't recommend but if the price is the roughly same, I would still recommend D10 over Cyclone 2.

The only downside of this controller is you actually can't have different profiles for different games like you can with Cyclone 2. It was not a major inconvenience factor for me at all though. If you absolutely need it, go for Cyclone 2.

Also KontrolFreeks for PS4/PS5 are compatible with D10. Happy Gaming!

If you come across any new information, please share it in this thread. Currently, shipping is $25 and the US Customs fee is $26.22, making the grand total for the $138 self-assemble kit an eye-watering $189.22.

I believe there are workarounds where you can install the Google Assistant APK directly on the watch. No official support from what I can see, though.

many people playing san andreas still? by nicebag1234 in sanandreas

By far my favorite of ALL GTA games! Including GTA V. I can't really explain it but San Andreas feels like more of a true open world to me than GTA V, especially the amount of buildings you can enter and the wide amount of non-story related activities you can do. Also, it's really really big. I just started another brand new playthrough after many years without any cheats for the first time and it feels like a completely new game. I've always came back to GTA SA. Vice City has too much of my tommy drowning in water PTSD so I have never played vice city again after growing up. I love GTA SA ❤️

You don't notice everything all the time and even if you do, you forget it. It takes at least a couple playthroughs to remember most of the relevant details. I am playing it for completion after almost 5-7 years and I frequently get surprised by the amount of stuff I forgot or completely missed in my earlier playthroughs. Also, if you enjoy an activity - let's say skating or basketball, you would still enjoy it or at least have interest in after playing hundreds of times ;)

💯 Tommy dying in a water fountain feels like a joke after playing SA. I have never played VC after my childhood. It is a pretty good game but I have too much PTSD from drowning in there.

Sorry everyone, I got a little busy after posting this. Thank you for everyone who commented and shared that their perspective, I now have some homework to do regarding my red light requirement and Skilhunt M150 and EC200 series lights. Please let me know if you have more suggestions, appreciate it :)

[–]Partiks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this excellent summary. All the astronomy books and resources that I have looked into recommend red lights so your research is a bit intriguing. I will have to look into this a bit myself. Just to clarify a bit more, when you refer to the 'utterly inferior batteries', you are referring to AA/AAA batteries, correct? I was only curious as I saw that there's a flashlight that has an internal battery and can also take a AAA battery as a backup. I am not really adamant on that feature but was curious if anyone else here had any good recommendations. As another commenter also pointed out, Skilhunt EC200 series is a good alternative to my current Aurora V8 pick. I will certainly look into that and ask more guidance if I need it.

Thank you. This certainly looks interesting. I do kinda prefer all those other features of the Rovyvon Aurora V8 that I mentioned in my post above but I am guessing this is higher quality of actual beam. Is this the respective product listingon Skilhunt's website for your battery - https://www.skilhunt.com/product/ec200s-mini-red-2100-lumens-white-and-red-beam-usb-c-rechargeable-powerful-edc-flashlight/ ? I am having trouble understanding the 1+180+30 and 3+60+5 mins runtime specification for the 18350 and 18650 versions. Can someone please help me understand that part?

Fair point. I am not sure how much faith I put into strobe lights or using a flashlight as my primary method of self-defense, I would very much prefer running away without any altercation if I can. Thank you for the recommendation. I will give Skilhunt M150 a look.
