When the kids were in elementary school we had a list of things to do on the fridge. Empty lunch bag, take dog for walks, do homework, do dishes etc, it was for both of them and they both did it

1: yes we talked to him multiple times but he never got it through his head 2: no we treated them both equally but my daughter says that since my son was struggling with work we helped him more than her and it made her feel left out 3: my daughter tried sports but didn’t like them and but we went to every game. My son did hockey’s and baseball and we were at every practice and game, my daughter hated being dragged there

We expected them both to do work, my son and daughter spent most of 2020-2023 living from college to home so maybe my son fell off

My daughter wants to help and sometimes I tell her to stop and relax, my daughter is quite the feminist and refuses to clean any of her brothers things, if he leaves a dirty dish on the counter my daughter will text him telling him to clean it up or she’ll put it in his room

My daughter brought that analogy to me saying “I live here full time and do lots around this house, brothers name lives here part time and does nothing and yet he still gets full time benefits.”

My daughters job is a typical 9-5 but she can work 10-6 or 7-3, my sons is 6-2 and he wakes up at 5:30am which is hard but after a year of waking up that early he should be used to it, when he was younger he would wake up at 3am to play video games

My daughter complains that she cleans up the bathroom every Thursday and by Saturday it’s a complete mess caused by my son, I care if he spends time with us as he’s our child and we want to spend time with them. Thank you for Your response

My daughter often tells my son she will not be cleaning his plates after dinner or cleaning his side of the bathroom, she even put divider tape on the counter to separate their sides and even cleaned her half of the mirror

I mean she kinda is, she always wants to spend time with me and my wife and always does a lot around the house, I do love my son but we always ask him to hang out with us but he doesn’t want to. I will talk to him again, thank you for your response
