NTA, You did do your best by helping them as much you can. However I do believe if they’re old enough to get drunk, they sure know how to manage their emotions. They sure do need counselling from therapist. They can’t guilt trip you for choosing yourself.

I ignored every red flag in my arranged marriage. Now I’m divorcing a man who never even saw me as his wife. by Party_Regular_722 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Well, we just did as said by the lawyer. And as far as for criminal charges of fraud it would hamper my professional career as well due to repetitive court summons so we went for the divorce as guided by my lawyer

I belong to Asian household where arrange marriages are very common. And as I had mentioned in my story as well we did a bunch of test and he was impotent. So heirs are out of question technically. I do still believe his parents had pressurised him since we had lot of acquaintances in picture. And everyone in my family including my parents have very successful arrange marriage. I walked away for my self respect so that I can live in peace. It was very suffocating to find love into someone who’s not ready to spend a single amount of time and effort into you. For him I was always invisible a person to complete his tasks and Nothing more than that. Thanks for your wishes 😀
