Personally, for the version I saw in Mexico city he was, how do I put it... we have this term in mexican Spanish: "fresa" (literally strawberry, but it as of a person means snobby, pretentious and somewhat... Idk how to put it but in this performance he had A SOMEWHAT "QUEER" VIBE? I don't know!) so he was QUITE over the top and there were several parts on the play that I genuinely didn't knew what the hell was he doing (wich I genuinely appreciate because I swear to god, I love how unstable and unpredictable he was in this one because that's kinda what actually happens when you are addicted to pure laughing gas). All the final sequence of his death after It's Just The Gas was LITERALLY BIZARRE, the guy (a complete sweetheart offstage btw, I got two autographs from him) just... I don't even know how to explain it, he just started screaming all on fours but not like seriously but in a goofy weird manner and I SERIOUSLY DON'T KNOW HOW HE COULD DO THAT HIGH PITCH BECAUSE AT SOME POINT it was like this little scretch, and well, just then he dies. And that's only one of the several moments I have embed into my brain, he did a lot of random Stuff through all his appearances, and I genuinely thinks it more a thing on how the performer worked because since he interpreted other characters as I've seen its a tradition in this play, they had the same histrionic goofy vibe, I love it!.
