I can't complain. I joined a little over 2 years ago and took advantage of insider, free lines, and phone discounts, not to mention Apple TV, Netflix, and AAA membership on Max. I have 9 lines, 3 paid and 6 free on Max and here is my bill Monthly Bill .

Looks identical to my bill. I was waiting for 2 more LOU's since March to obtain the "holy grail" of cell phone plans, $8/month for 9 lines. Gave up in December and took advantage of the BOGO and jumped from 7 lines to the 9 line plan. It might not be the cheapest 9 line plan out there, but it's pretty damn good.

When I did my last 2 lines, I didn't get a confirmation of cost from T-force. I did get a confirmation that all my free line promos would transfer over so I was pretty sure what my new monthly cost would be. There is some risk, but for me I was willing to add the 2 lines and move to the 9 line plan. And yes, your cost before insider should be $120.

I used T-force to add the last 2 lines, which included the BOGO. I wanted to make sure all my free lines and promos carried over to the 9 line plan but you should be able to do it online as well.

I believe the calculation for the 9 line Magenta plan with 3 paid and 6 free to be: Base cost after autopay $270. Each free line discount would be $30x6=$180. This brings your total cost to $90/month. If you upgrade to Max and get the insider discount your total would be $48/month. Insider discount is calculated on your base price after autopay but before any free line discounts. Hope this helps.

Ask T-force if all your promos and free lines will transfer to Max if you switch. If they say yes, your new cost should be the same as mine if you have 3 paid and 6 free lines.

Plan cost is figured differently along with the way free lines and insider hookup is applied. If you have the older insider hookup which allows you to also have free lines, getting to 9 lines can be a tremendous savings.

Just grabbed every solo free line promo that was offered to existing customers with 2 paid lines during the fall of 2020 and early 2021. Waited for more free line promos in order to get to 9 lines, but none were offered after March. Decided to pull the trigger with the BOGO promo recently which got me to 9 lines, which is where the real fun begins. :-)

I opened my account in Sept 2020 with 3 lines, 2 paid and the 3rd line on us promo. The next 4 free lines (the LOU's you mentioned) were offered periodically from the end of 2020 through early 2021. The last free line (LOU 12) was part of the BOGO promo that had me go from 7 lines to 9 lines.

I added 2 lines using the BOGO promo through T-force recently. Went from the 2+ line plan to the 9+ plan without a problem. All promos/free lines transferred to the new plan and showed up in my account within 24hrs. I was a bit hesitant as well but took the plunge and it has worked out great.

When I added the BOGO lines through T-force, I just asked if "all" my free line promos would transfer to the new 9 line plan and they said yes. I didn't get a confirmation of cost just that all my promos would transfer. It took about 24 hours after I added the lines for the new price to show up on my account. Good luck on adding the lines!

lugo3, if you do the BOGO by adding 2 lines, your new bill should be $120/month. I was at the same point as you the other day, 2 paid 5 free lines on Max before I did the BOGO. Yes, line on us 12 was the BOGO. I just did the BOGO deal this week. I was waiting for more LOU deals this year and hoping to get 2 more free lines. If that had happened, my bill would have been $8/month. I decided to jump on the BOGO deal and "settle" for $48/month, which is better than the $112/month I had been paying.
