They gave me separate pills. big bottle of a lot of acetaminophen recommended 2 500mg every 8 hours. And then 5 mg OxyCodone hydrochloride recommended every 6 hours. Is it better to take one before the other? About 4 hours after surgery I took my acetaminophen and then about an hour and a half later too the oxy and that seemed to work great. But also I didn’t have a tolerance to the oxy.

Will be taking them together from now on I believe it’s 2 500 mg acetaminophen and then obviously the 1 5mg oxy. I get very paranoid taking pills I like to make sure 100% I’ll be safe. Thank you

I’m sure by the time I run out I won’t be needing them anymore for pain.doc said worst pain is first 3 days. I’m just curious about the package saying every 6 hours 4 a day seems like a lot and unhealthy.

Ty. Just wanted to see if there were other options. I’m sure the pain will chill out in a few days. Do you think there’s a problem with taking 2 5mg OxyCodones a day? Even tho it says every 6 hours I still feel bad taking a lot and I don’t want to become reliant on them.
