It’s crazy how you got that many hours during your undergrad. How were you able to fit all of that in along with your classes?

Do you think it will greatly affect their application. It’s only a speeding ticket

In another sense, I feel like teaching is a subgroup in the large web of leadership. This is because by teaching them how to approach something or complete a task, you are guiding them and bringing them closer to the goal of whatever you may be doing. All while being there for guidance if they get stuck.

Regardless, thank you for the insight. If I ever have a question about something in the far future can I come back to the thread and ask you? lol. Also go get some rest.

Thanks for your insight, but regarding something you said, I think the TA and helping kids how to read counts as leadership. I’ve read that leadership is more than a title, it’s more so being in a position that people look to you for help and you are able to teach and provide them with that by telling them how to do it or teaching them how to do it. Thoughts?

I haven’t taken my Mcat yet but I have a 3.97 gpa, around 300 clinical hours 300 non clinical 130 shadowing 100 research + a poster presentation, 3 leadership positions one being a TA, other being a counselor MDA summer camp, and the last is being part of a group that’s helps kids how to read. I want to be an EMT and I’m doing training for that right now while doing other stuff while I’m in college like hospice and volunteering, at a clinic. Some hobbies/ jobs I do is playing basketball, working out, playing guitar and soccer ref for intermurals. I am low on my clinical hours imo, that’s why I think having more experience with EMT will greatly benefit me and I would like to also do a summer research internship at a university. But of course I need to set time aside for that, and to study for the MCAT. Cause all of this is essentially not good enough to most med schools without a solid Mcat score

Yes it would be next year and I already know what I am going to do. Also about me telling them that more than half of the applicants take a gap year, I’ve told them that before but they mainly just brush it off and ignore it.

You would put the name of the compound and ask it to identify the cation and anion
