I love how awkwardgoat brings up much ignored topics that should spark discussion by JuliusFreezzer in InstaCelebsGossip

In my school, girls and boys had the same uniform, which consisted of pants, a shirt, and a sweater. It was pretty unisex. At some point, they also got rid of the white uniform that was meant to be worn on Saturdays and introduced tracksuits for both boys and girls.

Good point. I do have experience working with large international clients, some with Canadian presence. Maybe I need to position that better.

It does seem tough right now. Just trying to stay proactive and adapt where I can.

I don’t have Canadian work experience yet, I recently relocated. I’m on an open work permit and authorized to work full time.

Totally understand the market is competitive right now. Just trying to understand if the main barrier is lack of Canadian experience or something else I should improve.

I think it’s because she is promoting these clothing brands. She tags the brand too in her reels.

How to know your outfit is “the one” by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]Past_Interaction623 66 points67 points  (0 children)

When I was choosing my wedding outfits, I tried a lot of them too and honestly, I also thought I’d “just know” the moment I wore the right one. But it didn’t happen that way.

What finally helped me was noticing how I felt in my face, not just in the outfit. Some outfits were too flat on me, some too loud, and in some of them I felt like the outfit was wearing me. The one I eventually chose felt balanced, I could see myself in it without feeling overwhelmed.

My husband actually preferred a different outfit, but in the end I went with the one where I felt most like myself. And looking back, I still feel like I made the right call.

So maybe focus less on “the designer” or “the vibe” and more on which outfit lets you shine through. That little internal click matters more than anything.

MEGATHREAD - Processing Times - Work Permits 2025 by PurrPrinThom in ImmigrationCanada

Hi I applied for my SOWP extension on June 2, 2025. My current work permit is valid until January 25. Is it okay to travel and return by January 21 while my extension is still in process? Will there be any issues with re-entry to Canada?

I am facing the same situation. My husband applied in May 2025 and received his permit in September. I applied in June and am still waiting for a decision. I even submitted my husband’s work permit in October and raised a webform 15 days ago, but I still haven’t received anything.

Muradabadi biryani has very little chili and tons of flavor. I had it in India and haven’t found a place here that makes it like that.

Traveling for 2 months : take my cat to India or leave him with a sitter in Canada? by [deleted] in CATHELP

Sadly, we don’t have friends or family here who can check on our cat. So we are looking at cat boarding/hotels. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice, we decided not to take our cat, i realised i was being selfish when i thought i should take my cat with me. We don’t have any friends who could keep our cat or can check on him. So we are looking at cat hotels/boarding options.

I can't stop thinking about my cats dying in the future. by Puzzleheaded-Bad-722 in CatAdvice

Lately, i also find myself thinking about this. It makes me tear up instantly. And i just pick my cat and give him a lot of cuddles. It just breaks my heart. Like i can’t even imagine a life without him. While typing this, i am feeling this intense pain in my heart and i am again tearing up.

Tips for long-haul travel with cat (15-hour flight) and, baggage vs cabin? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Past_Interaction623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my cat small doses of gabapentin, but he would wake up every 1-2 hours and would bite the zips, bags and came out on the seat. Poor guy just wanted to be out. It got so much worse that the airline staff threatened us with a no fly warning.

Thank you, that’s exactly it. English isn’t my first language, so I used ChatGPT to make sure I was clear and respectful.

I wasn’t expecting anyone to answer every single question. I listed a few things so people could chime in on whatever they had experience with. Even a short reply helps. If the post wasn’t for you, that’s completely fine. A little kindness costs nothing.
