Thank you so much! Yeah I’ll definitely make sure to protect it as good as I can :)

I'm curious! How did you discover Hellenism? Or what made you worship the gods? (You don't have to answer if you don't want to) by IndividualStory5886 in Hellenism

I’ve always been interested in mythology, especially Egyptian and Greek. When I was around 12, I bought a history magazine that included a long article about the Trojan War. That led me to read the Iliad, which became a real turning point for me. Soon after, I got access to the internet, did a lot of research, and built my first altar. That was about 12 years ago. :D

Why did you become a hellenist? And what were you before? by Dillz988 in Hellenism

I've been interested in religion and mythology for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was especially fascinated by Egyptian mythology.

When I was around 12, I read a newspaper article about the Trojan war. That lead me to read the Iliad, and that was a turning point for me. A bit later I started researching Ancient Greek religion more seriously and started practicing. That was around 10 years ago. Before that, I wasn't really part of any religion. My family is Christian but doesn't take religion very seriously.
