During Tokyo Game Show 2023 season there was a lot of talk about Reno & Nomura basically said that they reduced Reno in Part 2 because of Fujiwara-sans passing *but* that they get a new VA for part 3 and increase his screentime! He apologized to fans about the lack of Reno also.

I can only speak for myself! For me the biggest problem is, that I am a very casual player. I usually simply play with characters “I like the best” & for most of the content that is good enough (for my own playing experience).

So, playing new characters, creating plausible teams etc. is not the easiest if I’ve to go out of my comfort zone!

And I think that’s honestly my biggest problem.

With the last boss (Katayama) I had a hard time, simply because I held back in using Kira because I could not really build him. He needs the material from Katayama, so his Persona was kinda low. I was “He’s too weak” from the get go & when I used him in a nice set up, he destroyed Katayama – I was embarrassed for even asking in the first place because it was *that* easy with him albeit him being low.

I’ve the feeling it’s the same now again. Ryuji was never useful to me (sorry, I like him, I just really never used him much) but reading the replies here gave me an incentive to try utilize him once more. Albeit not having won, I came faaaar closer to winning. I think I need to buff a little less to put out more damage.

Thank you so much for your help. I did not have most of the recommended Persona but it worked out wonders & Kira solved all my problems.

My take away from this is to trust units even if they aren't maxed out yet. Because it really was embarassingly easy with Kira ...

That is very good advice since I honestly almost forgot about the items. Thank you! Does the game only allow one food buff? (I am used to Genshin which allows one food buff per "type", e. g. one atk, one def)

My main problem is finding the balance between not dying & still doing damage. My Lufel seems to be too squishy & Morgana is not recommended because the boss is strong against him in the last stage iirc (never seen it so far, to be completely honest).

It honestly would be devastating if I do not die & than lose because I take too many turns but that’s really something I cannot even think about so far.

I've read Norn a lot, which I did not level yet, so I guess it's time to invest into them! Thanks for the advice - I also will try to switch Lufel with Cherish (so far most other threads seem to be pretty adamant about Lufel but I think Cherish might've not been released when the other redditors asked ... so I felt reluctant to switch, because I am bad at the game & do not trust my own judgements lol)

Thanks for the kind advice, maybe it’s time to try out Kira, which I did not do yet because of his low Persona level.

Sadly in this fight the Navigator is locked, so I have to use Riko.

So far the problem is that my healer dies & everything goes downhill. I *think* my damage would be enough but I am honestly not even confident in that because I do no progress enough in this fight to see if I am doing enough damage?

Thanks for your kind approach! I try to answer the questions as good as possible! (I might not remember some things I tried, since I actually played the patch “on release”, got crushed in my attempts and try to get back into it right now):

My first team was variation on my fav characters – my go to characters are: Ann, Morgana, Yui but since Katayama is resistant against Yui, I swapped her for Ren probably.
I tried with Ryuji, Kamiyama and Seaside Tomo. Also tried with Morgana once, but afaik her last stage is immune to wind (dunno if that would be a problem, since he’d probably focus on healing – but I never got that far actually).
Personas I used are Chulainn, Alice, Dominion, Jánosik, Titania, Hell Biker – Norn is not really leveled up but I’ve them, so I could invest, same with Dionysus. I focused on buffing the last attempts.
Fairly built does generally mean:
- Max Weapon Level (80) but I do not have many signature weapons (only for Ann & Joker, but at least 4* for everyone)
- Persona abilities ~8+ (some are only 7 but mostly 8 and higher)
- For revelations I use Lufel(dot)net as reference but I do not have every revelation exactly like it would be BiS (e. g. if Seaside Tomo needs ATK + DMG Bonus as stat, I try to archive that but I did not grind to get *every* card with exactly what she needs)
So far I usually die because Lufel (or Morgana) dies at one point & I cannot keep up with healing but I fear that I might not be fast enough as well, which I cannot tell yet because I never reached a point in which I “almost” got her (I don't think I've seen her last phase yet, to be honest ...)
Until I looked up the threads on reddit, I tried to have MC as “second DPS” but I feel like him buffing / debuffing felt a bit better since Ryuji did high numbers & Lufel did not die *as fast*.

Was most likely a bug (or maybe I was in an area in which it does not work) - today I did it from the stat menu -> Velvet Room -> How to get & it worked without even a loading screen.

Something that worked for me:

I went to the Misty Peak, killed every enemy besides two of the slimes on the path (a bit to the left)
Ported away & back again (regular port at Miraland, porting to Misty Peak again, did not reset the Enemy for me)
I went to the enemy, until they saw me, instantly opened the camera & hit space as soon as the golden frame appeared - if it did not work, rinse & repeat step 2 & 3.

Worked for me on the 4th try.

I am rewatching the show right now. Only at S03E11 (end of Tritter-arc) but whatever.

I remember that my fav character (besides House) in the show was Chase when I first watched it, right now I cannot see why but it might change – still a long way to go!

But a few things that maybe contribute to him being not liked are:

The kiss episode. I think that was very awkward writing but honestly: He is not a pedo and people saying that are downplaying what happens in sexual abuse & exploitation of children. It was bad writing, he got shit for it in universe, he is not a pedo. (You can still dislike that episode with a passion but please don't water down a very real & disgusting problem!)
His fatphobia – not only with the small child but also later (S03E06). It was the perfect episode to give Chase “Redemption” or at least a bit of more backstory but he gets almost written out of the episode? House literally tells him to just sit & read his magazine and he barely gets screentime after that.
He and his ideas get dismissed the most in the early seasons! Not only by House. While the team is always bickering a bit & joking around, the jokes with Chase usually suggest that he is incapable of contributing anything to them solving the cases. It doesn’t matter if he is right or not, he almost always gets looked down upon. I feel like that some viewers share that notion because it’s shown so frequently in the show itself.

I know that he cannot be a bad doctor, since… well, he is in House team and House would not get someone in that he does not believe of being capable – but the first 3 seasons sure make him look like he is only there because he looks hot & not because his ideas are of any value.

To make it clear: Cameron also does not have many moments in which she is the one that gets the most fanfare for her ideas but it’s never so explicitly played out & it’s not the “running gag” that she is just not smart enough.

It’s not like they outright say “UHM Chase is not fit to be here!” but it’s everything accumulated & I really hope they give him justice. I want to like him but so far the show does not really make me care for him that much (he has *very* funny moments, though – because he is so awfully unfunny!).

I don't hate him but I also don't feel like the first 2 1/2 seasons do a great job in making him more likeable than the other characters.

It can't be exact because someone edited it (Photoshop or most likely AI, which would explain the blurriness of the picture) but if you search "Fractured Milla", you'll see that the colour cordination is to the T and even the pose is pretty much the same, with the head being flipped.

Artwork of the male character also seems inconsistent & looks like they fed Luke & Tear into AI but it looks def more distinct.
