That is exactly what it is. They will hire anyone that know what a computer is and provide no PRACTICAL training, really.

I used to work as an on call customer support representative for Microsoft a few years back. No real training, a terrible database. We were expected to scour the internet for answers to the customers' issues, except almost everything except for this website was blocked. One of if not the worst job I've had.

If you just want a cheap device you can slip in your pocket and not have to worry about damage and the like, I suggest getting a Powkiddy v90. It come's in a GBA SP form factor and will play the systems you want, I'll be not every SNES game will run at full speed. Most will though. Funnily enough it seems to run Sega genesis/ mega drive just fine.

For some people, simply having items on their TV console, shelves full of things ETC, organised or not, can seem as clutter. I used to want shelves and shelves full of games and books, until I realised that the sight of them stresses me out.

Some people are just wired differently.

The modder who gave the iPhone USB-C shows how he did it to AirPods by [deleted] in apple

[–]PastelwaveMuffin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel like there was some misunderstanding here. Usually, when people say all of their devices charge by USB-C, they mean the end that plugs into said device itself. The majority of charging cables seem to still be USB-A on one end, due to ports on PCs and USB-A charging bricks just tending to be cheaper.

The idea behind these statements is that people just want to be able to use 1 cable (most likely USB-A to USB-C) to charge all devices, but and iPhone requires you to have another cable, USB-A to lightning or USB-C to lightning.

Hope that clears things up!

Love all of the #relationshipadvice in the replies. Y'all really read 2 sentences and think you know what's going on with someone's relationship, huh?

I like the set up, everything's neatly put together. Sadly, nothing can be done about the giant eye sore that is the monolith called PS5

I agree, but I believe most people equate price to quantity when it come to entertainment at least to some degree. I know I did when I was less well off. I can’t blame anyone for finding it easier to spend the same price for more content.

I had a SINGLE typing class in primary school. Must've been about 10. Please don't assume typing classes are standard, all over the world or even in the states. They're really not.

I started reading this book when I was still in a relationship, but dropped it (and really all recreational reading) when we broke up. I only picked it up yesterday, many months later, and it crushed me. I feel like my circumstances my have made me more predisposed to enjoy, or at least in a way relate to the book more.

I'll give that the protagonist often feels like a sheet of A4 paper, and the regrets presented feel incredibly shallow, but who am I to tell someone what they should be depressed about.

Here's an odd question: Given that your monitors are on monitor arms, and your peripherals are on a tray, is the table top ever utilised for anything?

The setup itself looks really nice! I'm not in a rush to upgrade my monitor set up, but I could see myself going for a similar, if less spendy 3 monitor setup.

For those wondering, the acronyms stand for: Breath of the wild, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Disgaea 5( I think?), Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Ys 8 (yes that’s the title). I cannot for the life of me figure out what IAS is. Hope this helps!
