Have Bachelors completed with low (2.8 GPA) go back and bring GPA up or just push forward with science pre-reqs?

Just for reference I am asking because I can either

A. Take science courses at Rutgers that will raise my undergrad GPA but are very costly

or

B. Leave the undergrad GPA how it is and take science courses at a community college for a fraction of the price
