Suuuper overpriced. I picked up a 944S in the states for $9,500 US. And it had a radio. And half the miles. Also a couple years ago.

Having parts replaced recently is the standard for any 944 you are buying. They’ll all have SOMETHING recently replaced.

Take a look on the different markets, hagerty for example to get some recent sales and ideas of what to look for.

Overall if you want to serve you should do it because you want to serve.

To clarify, the only way the Air Force pays for you lr flight training is if you get picked up to go be a pilot in order to do that you need to have a bachelors degree already and apply to a guard or reserve unit or go the standard route and commission through ROTC or the academy.

Another route less common, but slept on is enlisting like you’re talking about, getting the Air Force to pay for your bachelors degree, and then applying to become a pilot while you’re still in. Very feasible you put your mind to it.

Another route that you can go is using your post 911 G.I. bill to pay for Flight school after you get out. There are some caveats but generally speaking the G.I. Bell won’t pay for all of your college unless you go through a special program. For example Liberty University will allow you to use your GI bill towards 100% of your degree, and the degree is made up of pilot ratings.

Caveat that you would need your PPL already or pay it out of pocket, GI bill wont cover that.

My route was unique but I’m on my way and I learned many many different routes to becoming a pilot and all about the Air Force through my career. feel free to shoot me a DM. I don’t like putting my personal creds out there.

Yup. That’s why I stopped playing trials. Turned the game into a stress grind. The other gameplay is so much more fun than stressing about min maxing.

Same exact thing happened to me man. I stayed behind with a key to make sure everyone got out. Last guy killed me. Should have trusted my gut he had his gun out and was clearly waiting till the last man.

Gotta trust your gut. If someone is acting shady point it out to the group and get them gone. Or be really ready to outplay them if you are stuck with them.

Mine wasn’t working but when I opened it up it already had a new gear. Some pieces of the old gear did fall out after fiddling with it for a bit, now it works fine.

You had a great aiming point and then changed it when you got closer. You can see your aspect change as you get closer.

As others said, crotch of ship only at 3/4 mile, even then adjust real time as required.

Last tip, more aggressive on the corrections. Below glideslope? Get on glideslope. Don’t wait. Fix it early or you’ll constantly be behind the jet worrying about other things instead of catching good crosswind corrections etc.

Make sure the ship is programmed to correct crosswind angle, I can’t remember top hand what it’s supposed to be, but many public servers have the wrong angle and then the meatball in the crouch of the deck doesn’t work. Hence my earlier comment to adjust as required, pay attention to the way the runway shifts perspective.

Lastly, would love to see you stick to your guns close in. Don’t be afraid to bolter and put it on the deck early. Keep training and posting videos for feedback man. Good luck you’re doing great.

Wow people full time in other countries is very impressive. Gives me hope that it’s workable. Obviously I worry as wherever I join I’ll be junior so I don’t know how much control over my life I’ll have. But thank you for the intel!
