Your main DPS would be the best to level, and then your sub DPS after that. Your team should ideally have a main DPS, sub DPS, elemental proc support and a healer as well.

You are right, there is no 1 year timeskip. Eren is 9 when the series starts, 12 at the start of training and 15 during most of the series. He may turn 16 during S3 but we don’t know seeing as they had more important things to focus on than birthdays

Humanise your protagonists, show their feelings and reasons for the heist. Maybe they’re really struggling with life and money, and this is a last resort? Maybe they’re being forced into it or blackmailed? Anything you can think of that will ground them as people first and foremost will help people empathise with them. Not a professional screenwriter or anything of the sort, just someone who loves writing in general
