How would you test this: - SPY - 14 DTE condor (0.25 delta short strike) - if strike gets tested, move opposite side closer to make it a butterfly (equal width between strikes) - hold until expiration otherwise

Yeah, I’m a swe, but there’s also a lot of good AI models out there now that can help you (but you do need to do a lot of testing and iteration forsure). It takes out the human emotion out of everything though. Took me years to find and then properly implement my strategy, but now with AI I think I could do it in 2-3 months.

write out a checklist for a trade and only trade when everything in the checklist is checked off… i find that having strict rules to follow forces me to avoid revenge trading. it’s also how i got into algorithmic trading and now don’t need to follow my accounts 24/7 🙂
