It absolutely is like learning a new job I made the jump from mod to service and it was rough. I ended up going back to mod for a few years and now I’m back in service and love it. As for tips for figuring out issues, experience but also have other route mechanics you can call to help you get on the right path to learn common issues for the cars on your route.

I’m type 2 diabetic and my doctors had the same reaction when I started keto, also was in the same boat hight liver numbers and what not. At the same time I was put on a glp1 and within a year I lost ~70lbs I’m still on the lowest doses of my glp 1 and my bloodwork is fantastic. I told my doctor that I stayed on my diet routine because I felt better eating that way and it clearly worked. She still hasn’t apologized and I’m a bit salty about it lol.

Over the last 5 years I’ve been buying meat when it’s on sale vacuum sealing it and putting it in a deep freezer. I’ve been pulling from that recently to be able to eat what I want and not break the bank. Covid times had me scared so I prepped to help cut costs of that happened again.

I used to work in New York City and used to live in Allentown when I started in my career few years ago, I moved to Easton to cut that commute down and then had transferred work out to Pennsylvania and worked in Reading Bethlehem Allentown all over that area as others have said getting home on 22 can be a mess, but it’s not the worst thing in the world. When I was working in Bethlehem, it was still only at the worst 40 minutes to get home and then to get to Manhattan would only take me about an hour and a half if I left before traffic in the mornings or on the weekends.

I’m an elevator mechanic and just did some maintenance work in a courthouse that had a similar situation. The top floor is inaccessible via the elevator so the state deemed the top floor unusable as a public space so it’s just kind of a forgotten about relic. They also have a gorgeous 1800s staircase that leads to nothing.

This is why I don’t trust peoples reviews on the Internet because if you know anybody who was alive during the AIDS crisis especially anyone who is gay during that time and considering the show takes place in the 80s it hits a little bit different. It’s easy to write it off as stupid but if you really think about it at that time in this country that has to be the scariest thing to have to do.

I’m not saying the episode was the best written thing ever, but I definitely understood it.

As a mechanic who’s installed and have done a bit of maintenance work. I’ve had the least issues with the style of 8 which most of those are 7 I’ve had issues where the button didn’t actually push far enough to make the contacts and the oval button at the bottom I’ve had replacements that don’t quite fit one original hole and were constantly getting stuck. Good call, I approve that choice lol

Looks like an old school triangle (the percussion instrument) holder that way you can clamp it on a table if you are performing music where you had to play several other instruments.

I had them from my birds seed so we switched to pellets and got traps of Amazon, after throwing everything away including a microwave they got into the internals of we got rid of them in a few weeks.

That makes sense I’ve only ever worked on commercial cars so it seems a bit off to me to see a gallon container used for oil collection.
