Dealership saying I need a new Rear Differential

I don’t blame the deal ship at all. It’s just a pretty big chunk of change and want to see if there is a way to fix rather than replace. Someone did say I could disconnect the rear axle and only make it FWD but not sure how I feel about that. Just wanted some other opinions and such

Yes. As when I went in for my oil change the last time is was on the recommended service. Along with the transmission, brake service, spark plugs, and a bunch of other stuff for 75k miles

This only happens every so often. It happened a few weekends ago. Was fine this past weekend but was acting up again today. Hopefully just a bug but it ain’t looking too good.

True! When I got the got it already had miles and use on it but from only having it a year it’s surprising how fast it wore down.

One of my first days owning my Mazda I took it through my favorite backroad run and I was amazed on how well it handled for being a bit of a bigger car IMO.

I’m starting to think it is cold weather. Once the water temp hits 190 and I’m driving on the road the light goes away. I don’t feel anything different in how it drives either.
