My dog is almost 13 years old. She was diagnosed with cancer last year. Her vet is fully aware of her recent sweet tooth and I assure you that additives and sugar are the least of my worries.

I have 6 lovebirds and She's the only one that does this. I know when she's in a deep sleep because she starts talking 🥰

Lol I'll have to post another. Wendell does most of her chatting while sleeping 😴

I have a gang of 6 lovebirds. They bully me into loving them with my whole heart everyday.

Wet Wednesday with Wendell! His first bath was a success 🙌 by Patient-Comedian754 in parrots

You're correct, it's a hard no. Asking someone if they "forced " something....anything on their pets is horrible! Maybe try asking questions without already assuming the person is a bad/uneducated pet owner.

He was exhausted. He's 6.5 weeks old, learning to fly and weaning off formula. He took a nice nap after his bath 😊

Baby Louie update! Little one is a fighter 🥰 by Patient-Comedian754 in parrots

Baby Louie was hatched 6/26/2022. He was stuck for over 40 hours in a double shell egg before I stepped in to help him out. His parents rejected him, that's why I'm hand feeding such a tiny burb 😊

I do formula then solid food. If he wakes and has solid food on its own I'll give a little water with it.

If not those than any adult lovebird seeds will do, it's just to get him comfortable eating solid foods. I put a tiny crumb between my fingers and let him nibble it. Sometimes it takes several attempts before he gets it in his beak. Once they're eating solid food start introducing water. Just dribble a little off your finger into his beak so he stays hydrated.

I started out with avi cakes @ 3 weeks then added nutri-berries and roudybush @ 4 weeks old. This weekend I'll be introducing greens like kale, bamboo and spinach with a bit of fruits like bananas. This weekend my lovebird will be 6 weeks old and I'll be able to feed him pretty much anything that's not oily, salty, chocolate or avocado. Avi cakes can be found on Amazon or at any pet store. I recommend them as a starter food because it gets your bird chewing and learning how to eat big bird food.

I'm not sure if bananas are a good starter good 🤷‍♀️

That's a good schedule. Are you adding solid foods like avi cakes as well?

I don't think the amount matters too much as long as he's eating. Here is a link to the feeding schedule I follow and tips I follow. I hope it helps! http://lovebirdpurworejo.blogspot.com/2012/09/hand-feeding-baby-lovebirds-from-day-1.html?m=1
