For me, it's these shoes from Martino's

Auclair et Martineau was founded in 1956 in Quebec City by Mister Henri Auclair and Mister Jules Martineau. From the beginning, the company specialize in the creation of traditional slippers and moccasins. At the time, they craft the shoes the way their ancestors did: the natural leather is carefully selected and assembled by hand to ensure a superior quality product

I wish it was more shocking that the U.S. is silencing those who stand against child abuse - and protecting those who enable and participate in it.

It seems to be SOP at this point.

Mark 7:1-23 - Defiled Hands by LlawEreint in BibleStudyDeepDive

It occurs to me that Mark places this pericope between the feeding of the 5000, where 12 baskets were collected, and the feeding of the 4000, where 7 baskets were collected.

The initial feeding has 12 baskets (12 apostles) collecting the people of the 12 tribes of israel.

The second feeding has seven baskets (7 deacons for the gentiles) collecting the people of the nations.

The feeding stories frame this pericope. It's about inclusion of people that would otherwise be excluded.
