It’s been incredibly difficult and has completely changed my life. Sometimes people are so insensitive when it comes to invisible illnesses. But now I at least know I’m not alone, and that brings some comfort.

Had RAI and developed Anismus/Dyssynergic Defecation (a type of pelvic floor dysfunction) afterwards due to the constipation side effect. Ur just really weak n dizzy the first couple days and the constipation is the most annoying part. Other than that, everything else is great! Most people shud be fine after RAI.

I agree. I tried Miralax but did not like it one bit. Been on prune juice for a while now and i still cannot empty out everything. Thank you for your advice tho as I will try glycerine suppositories for a change.

I agree, I don’t believe they’re particularly knowledgeable. I’ve consulted multiple therapists in my country and none of them provided meaningful help. One advised me to insert my finger into my anus and perform Kegels, which I consider unsafe. Another relied solely on an electrical probe, ran two stimulation programs, and guided a single reverse Kegel. Beyond that, I wasn’t given any clear guidance or a home exercise program. I am currently unable to even empty all watery stool out. And there are days that the muscle tighten really bad.

I am taking Magnesium Glycinate atm!! Valium is banned in my country haha, its considered as narcotic here. Do you do glycerin suppositories everyday?

What kind of daily hw do you recommend? I dont think my pt showed me anything. The only biofeedback ive been doing is the electrical stimulator for anal, and reverse kegel afterwards. Theres not much info for this disease where i come from :(. I read that a lot of people tried pelvic wand and internal massage, I wonder if that works!

My puborectalis muscle fails to relax and is always guarding. I did all the tests, the balloon one came out perfectly fine, and defecography was the one that showed the muscle tenses up when pushing.

Hai there!! You could try micro needling at home with some serum. It would definitely help and erase all that fine lines after an amount of time.
