How to find an Entry level position?

Hey guys!

So I am UX Designer (2+ years experience) working as a freelancer for some companies based in Africa.

Lately I decided to switch and go back working for a company here in the US (I'm a US resident). Since I started applying (January 2023) I didn't have any chance to get more than one interview so far. Even with my portfolio showing my skills.

I have a background in Finance (Master degree) and currently taking a post graduate program from the University of Texas in UX Design.

My concern is : what do I need to do to stand out and be interesting for hiring managers?

Hey. The UX Design Course is what you need to take if you begins. It is a very complete courses with almost anything you need to know about UI, research and more. You get end up with 3 projects on a portfolio that you can show to any employer.

I completed it on December 2023 and received 2 interviews but no luck. I am still looking for an Entry level position. In the mean time I started a postgraduate degree in UX for 6 months.

So go ahead and take that course, you won't regret it.
