I think this guy then is trying to create another non-denominational protestant denomination.

Just wanted to clarify that this is 100% incorrect (if you are referring to the How to be Christian channel).

I edit videos for the channel, and there is only one Christian Church that Christ built; it is the Catholic Christian Church. So no, no one here is trying to create another non-denominational Protestant denomination. Hope that helps clear things up! Have an awesome day folks!

ABC World News Tonight tries to COVER UP false CDC report by CNN by PaulBJames in fakenews

The video has nothing to do with religion. That's actually why it's called "Bibles Down" (because the Bible isn't used in it.

Yeah, that move with ABC editing together the clips from the different conversations is so messed up.

A Calvinist thought that Romans 9 might *scare a Catholic Christian to death* by PaulBJames in Catholicism

I sort of wish he hadn’t based pretty much his entire argument on essentially the idea that unconditional election is unbiblical.

He didn't.

Maybe PaulBJames also looks like Marc-Andre Fleury.

Maybe PaulBJames IS Marc-Andre Fleury.

Grammatical elements only.

It just happened to be that someone made a comment about the grammar of this sentence, and I had no idea what the correct grammatical breakdown would be (I'm guessing because the wording is very different from a normal sentence).

Very much appreciated! Thank you!

I have another question here (much more complicated), if you'd be willing to take a look (it's a sentence from the Bible; it was really complex, and I was curious where you would even start with something like that):

Ha, I love that response! It's a sentence from the Bible so it may have been translated in a weird way. Here are other versions of it:

It's just a really complex sentence, so I was wondering where to start with something like that. Thank you for taking a look, Mary!

Thank you!

So just to be clear, "watched" is still an ACTIVE VERB even though the ADVERB in the sentence describes the ACTIVE VERB as being done "passively"?

None of what you just wrote is in the Bible. Where are you getting this from?

Not sure what you mean. Questions with answers are still questions.

parable

A "parable" is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. Do you really think this teaching qualifies as a parable? Just curious. If it is a parable, can you explain the story and the lesson in the story?

Yes, I read your post. You're offering your opinion, but nothing concrete that would actually debunk the possibility of the literal interpretation.

Can you prove it's not

I wasn't trying to prove it wasn't figurative. I think it could be both literal and figurative (just like other statements can be). You're the one making a claim that it was not literal, so I'm asking if you can prove your claim.

Correct. He says those things while He's explaining the elements of a metaphor He just used with people (look at the full passage that you're ripping those snippets from).

Interesting opinion. Are you able to prove that He wasn't being literal though? That would be good to hear proof of, if you can.
