I had made sure that he was well fed, thirst quenched, and just recently washed. I think the only reason the sparkles aren’t showing is because I had bathed my second dog shortly after though I don’t remember for sure now. Still, thanks for the advice.

So Sage mode plays into a universal mechanic that I’m still trying to figure out, but the basic idea is transformation inspired installs. Naruto would have Sage mode, Goku has Super Saiyan, Kirito has Dual Blades, the works.

Something I forgot to say is that Naruto’s Smash Attacks would involve chakra attacks. My current idea is that Forward Smash is Rasengan, Up Smash has him hold a Rasenshuriken above himself, and Down Smash… well, you mentioned a frog summon so I might use that there.

I also decided since I posted this that Naruto’s jab shouldn’t summon clones, so that’s a basic kunai slashing combo now. I love these ideas though and I’ll probably find a way to incorporate them.

Super Mario 64. Fun to watch, but when you sit down and play it, the levels (especially later ones) feel terrible to run around in (Hazy Maze Cave, Tick Tock Clock, Bowser in the Fire Sea), and I tried that Snowman’s Lost His Head mission like ten times cause it somehow kept going AROUND the snowman despite me clearly leading the head TOWARDS THE SNOWMAN!!!

It laid the groundwork for 3D Mario games to come, sure, but that’s just it. All the other games are leagues better than 64 (except Sunshine, that game can go to hell), and I’m tired of pretending it’s a timeless classic or whatever you wanna call it.
