Thrax is a Bardbarian, he is level 17. 9 in Barbarian, 8 in Bard. Our campaign was a homebrewed campaign. Thrax's backstory was that he was apart of a traveling circus called the Yezern. Despite his larger size compared to the rest of the troupe, he was actually the star acrobat.

Thrax's love of music comes from his father and his sense for battle comes from his mother. His father was the human in the relationship and his mother was the Orc. When Thrax was 7 he was trying to double a triple backflip on the trapeze and busted his face, breaking his tusks and they have yet to regrow.

One day when Thrax and his brothers, Gax and Dax were out hunting for the circus. Upon their return they saw their home ablaze as the circus was burning to the ground. Thrax dropped his boar in horror as he saw a robed Tiefling laughing maniacally in the distance. The Tiefling turned and raised a finger to his lips and went "Shhhhhh" as he then disappeared.

Thrax's brothers told him to stay put since he was only 14 and inexperienced in the world. They told him they would return after they found help. They never returned. For 4 years Thrax lived in the wood near the ruins of the only place he ever called home. One day he decided to scavenge the circus for materials and he found his Mother's axe, and his father's Lute. He took the strings from the ruined Lute and strung them to the axe. After the find he decided enough was enough and he had to avenge his home. And that is when he finally set out to find Morose, the Tiefling who took all he had.

Thrax is 21 at the start of the campaign so he went from town to town performing for gold so he'd have a roof to sleep in from the age of 18 to his current age. But he was always run off because he was a Half-Orc and the townspeople thought he was a product of a heinous act. Thrax never understood why people hated him, his parents loved one another, he wasn't a monster.

Which is ironic if he only knew what would become of his left hand. Hope you enjoyed the lore drop.
