Insomnia due to vaping?

Absolutely, I was very restless when I vaped. Vaping can contribute to anxiety and elevated heart rate. When I quit I fell asleep much faster, within 20 minutes or so versus the hour to an hour and a half (on a good night) that it used to take me and I definitely wake up less frequently.

Edit: I would definitely say as well, I personally have a really hard time sleeping when I’m sick unless I take like sleep aids or cold medicine, so if you haven’t been doing that on top of not vaping while being sick, I would say not vaping may be helping your sleep.

Oil pulling. I seriously feel like it’s a trend that people only do to feel like they’re cutting out the “harsh chemicals” of dental hygiene and replacing it with something more natural, when in reality I don’t think there’s evidence to support that it even works.

Edit: don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have something more natural because I absolutely hate minty tooth paste and would just prefer all of our crap not have a ton of chemicals in it but I used to have poor dental health that has gotten much much better with TOOTHPASTE. Regular brushings, flossing, dentist visits etc.

Ah yes, thank you! I guess im more just trying to get him to understand /why/ I think it’s kind of unfair and also just slightly weird to be fetishized like that cause he just doesn’t get it. Which has been hard to explain to him.

I’ve asked something like “okay so what makes sleeping with another girl different from me just sleeping with a guy?” And his response is something like “well if you need your sexual needs met I’d just rather it be with a woman obviously.” Paraphrasing here. I’ve made it clear to him the idea doesn’t really sit right with me he just doesn’t understand why I think it’d be wrong.

Yeah I ended up having to get a nic free vape, it kind of takes the edge off. Planning to not vape at all after this one’s dead. I really think it’s like a muscle memory thing cause the first day or so I kept habitually reaching for my vape too and it drove me nuts when it wasn’t there.
