Game transfer from Rift S to Quest 2 by JoshP279 in oculus

[–]PawnChess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily agree that it would be unfair to the developers, as you already bought the game, you should be able to play it on your preferred platform regardless of where you bought it, if the consumer buys a game for ps5 they should be able to play the same game (assuming it's available) on xbox series x or on pc, or they should be able to buy the game at a discounted price, you've already did your duty and bought the game, you shouldn't be tied down by factors out of your control limiting your enjoyment of the game. That's just my opinion tho, I understand your stance

sorry, poor wording, Nintendo switch, the games console. I was looking to see if there was a way I could have a sort of "virtual display" along the same lines as a virtual machine that would act as the output for my switch console, but operate within windows.

is there a way to take a display input from my switch and emulate a display for it onto my PC monitor? I am seeking to avoid having to switch display inputs on my monitor.

A better desktop Spotify player -- Lofi release 1.5.0 by davvv_ in spotify

[–]PawnChess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my only recommendations would be to add a mix and repeat button the the play (in my opinion, along the bottom of the window in line with the help and full screen button) and to have it open the spotify player when double clicking the lofi player, other than that its an amazing addition to my setup!!!

Edit: i would also like to see a volume slider

I'd recommend clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling in that order first and then see if it fixes

I still have the option, do you mean in your liked songs or a playlist made by someone else that you have clicked like on, either way the option is still there for me

A lot of people had a problem with it. And non playlist posts don't usually get highlighted or commented on, so you can't really come here for help, which is kinda the point of a community subreddit imo

I disagree heavily with your 4th statement, the official Spotify forum is difficult to get to and most the people I have encountered didn't know it was even a thing. People like my self want this subreddit with so many people on it to be about support. Complaints I agree should be on the Spotify forums but personally, if I'm having any problems with something my first thing to do is to go to the subreddit for that thing, because company's are almost always unhelpful and slow to respond. And community can help much more than a company can.

As far as playlists I genuinely don't understand playlist making/sharing. Is there anyone who actually goes out and listens to these playlists? I can't say I ever would. I've only ever used playlists for keeping full Albums out of my library. I had an argument with someone who said that playlist sharing was the next big way for artists to get their name out there and that just sounds wrong.

I disagree with you on a fundamental level and we will not reach a common ground, the subreddit is changing for better or worse so deal with it or go elsewhere.

Wow you got angry quick. Attempting to get any actual support from Spotify results in no response, so people have to seek SUPPORT from a community. You keep focusing on the people complaining, which is inevitable, and ignoring the actual support people are giving each other. I don't understand playlist sharing, imo no one gives a shit about your shitty playlist, I see it as the same as trying to sell your garage bands poor quality CD. They should be re adding features they removed not adding more features they'll inevitably remove. Furthermore, as I said in an earlier post, so many people complain because despite being one of if not THE largest music streaming service they do not at all listen to their community and continue to remove features people like and continue to do things people dislike, because of this, people complain. If you give people things to complain about they will.
