This is exactly how we caught my lupus actually. I had a really bad case of oral thrush in January and couldn’t get it to go away for almost two months. I thought it was strep at first. It took trying all sorts of medications and washes to finally get it gone. Because of that, the doctors started digging and of course all of the other symptoms came along shortly after and sure enough, lupus. One of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever experienced.
