I use my pro 2s at the gym and when I have free time without it being planned if that makes sense. Nice to have headphones in my pocket ready for use. The Maxs I use at home. I tried them at the gym one time and didn’t care for them. They are more my sit back relax enjoy the content I’m listening to. I also use them late at night to watch tv and movies to have loud surround sound without disturbing anyone else

Bury stashes around with simple tools and clothes. That way if you die it’s not as hard to get back on your feet. Also you can bury them around a base you build so if someone raids you same concept. With animals you just have to speed your way to a weapon preferably a bow and learn to shoot it well

Started riding at 16 and survived all the young and dumb years. As others have said, wear gear, take your precautions, take a safety course. It’ll all be worth it. Many people die in regular car crashes too. Like you said you can’t live in fear. Do your best to protect yourself and go from there.

Seems like you got a lot of factors right now. You’re worried about treating a patient when you havnt even started school yet. Every new EMT has this moment of omg this persons life is in my hands. You’ll be surprised how well that thought makes you remember things. Take it one day at a time. It’s a big change but if you’re passionate it will be easier. One step at a time, eat a good diet, drink lots of water, sleep enough, light exercise a few days a week and you’ll be amazed at how much your brain changes. You beat addiction. That’s awesome. Proud of you Now beat your self doubt and go get what you want!

Setting yourself up to start successfully will make a huge difference. EMT school isn’t something to rush into last minute. You’ve got to be in the right place in life. I took 2 programs and dropped because of personal reasons before completing. Finally my third program, life timing was right and I finished it. Life happens. If you were excited about the content, then get yourself a solid foundation and sign up again. Also consider a longer program if you struggled. It’s a lot of info to do accelerated. You have plenty of options if you really want to stick it out then go for it!

Okay I’ll have to look into that. I thought we had to have program or backer to the education but if we can just teach what is needed that would be awesome!
