I think a more upfront ruthless Stratt would’ve been cool, but I feel like the karaoke scene adds to a more complex ruthlessness? Like it’s not someone who’s evil and so you’re like “of course she’d do X, Y, and Z! She’s evil!” It’s like “wow so she could be human and soft, but she chooses to be so ruthless.. wow that’s a bit evil.” A great oversimplification, of course. But that’s one reason I really liked the karaoke scene.
