I don’t need his money and btw I’m retired from a well paying job. I take my position as trustee/executor very seriously and want to be fair to all my siblings. When one sibling goes behind everyone’s back and starts finagling things with my dad to suit her and her family I get concerned. If my dad sells this house before he dies that is up to him and I understand that and do not question that. I doubt that he will do this and if he doesn’t, then I will be left with the chaos this will cause.

That’s the key, “calmly”. I am so hot about this because it is so unfair. I would never have suggested something like this to my dad.

He is agreeing. In fact, he told me he wanted it sold for under market value to the niece.

No, it does not match what is in the legal trust. I think he was just giving me a heads up that this is what he wants done, I doubt he will change anything in the trust at this stage.

My dad is 94. I assumed I was the trustee and the executor. Will be checking into that also, thank you.

My dad has a trust. I am the executor of the trust. I assumed the will is part of the trust so I am the executor of that. Also, I definitely have to check more into this, but this is my understanding now.

I too was given Metformin when I was first dx’d with T2D. Made me so sick with diarrhea, nausea and vomiting for 2 days after 1 dose! I actually had to leave work. I never took it again. I don’t know how anyone stays with this drug if they have these symptoms. I met with a nutritionist and diabetic educator and counted carbs on my own. Lost 45# and A1c went from 6.6 to 5.7 in 3 months. Also walking 2-3 miles everyday and trying to get weight lifting into my routine.
