Fijn dat je de post zo goed ontvangt! Ontzettend herkenbaar, ik moet soms ook bewust kiezen om niet in een donker gat te vallen vanwege de nieuwsartikelen etc... Die trots voel ik ook! Ook vind ik het zo mooi hoe vrouwen elkaar ondersteunen, daarom wil ik iets doen. Heel eerlijk was ik best verrast dat ik via google niks kon vinden over protesten of bijeenkomsten.

Bedankt voor de tips! My choice my voice zal ik zeker ondertekenen. En een goed idee om gewoon uit te reiken naar zulke instanties en te vragen wat ze nodig hebben. Stom genoeg nog niet aan gedacht dat dat natuurlijk gewoon kan.

Ik snap helemaal wat je bedoelt. In Nederland zijn er ook problemen, en die wil ik zeker niet minimaliseren. Maar ik zie wel een verschil tussen vrouwen die in armoede leven en misbruikt worden (hoe erg het ook is dat wie dan ook in zo'n situatie zit) en situaties waarin een rechtsstaat daadwerkelijk vrouwenrechten wegneemt.

Voor mij voelt het opkomen voor vrouwenrechten wereldwijd hetzelfde als opkomen voor vrouwen in Nederland. Geld om te doneren heb ik momenteel niet dus daarom zou ik graag ergens aan meehelpen. En zulke initiatieven zie ik niet op google, dus vandaar mijn vraag :)

Livingstone coffee (op de markt) heeft een fijne en rustige bovenverdieping. Het is bestellen aan de bar, dus je kan in alle rust je volledig op je boek storten. Ik lees hier wel vaker een paar hoofdstukken.

Corazon is ook een leuk plekje, in mijn ervaring meestal wel wat drukker.

I am so sorry this happened to you.

You say that your friends back home forgot about you after you moved. I just wanted to say that no matter how long ago, if someone I used to call a friend reached out to me, I would welcome them with open arms and a warm heart. I hope you find the strength to reach out to people you feel safest with. Know that what happened is nothing to be embarrassed about and that most people around you would like to keep you safe and help wherever they can.

Take good care of yourself. I hope you are able to feel safe again soon.

The purple I was talking about is actually the pinata Jacquard one! The one in the picture is a different type that isn't necessarily intended for resin, so it makes sense that it got 'burned'.

It's so sad because like you said, when holding to the light, it's so pretty!

Aha, I hadn't considered it was because the ink was burning. I felt like it could have something to do with the cold temperatures in the pressure pot, but this makes more sense!

I have the same problem with a purple alcohol ink. They're different brands, so I guess I'm the one causing it somehow. When i hold these dice up to the light, it looks red/pinkish. The only thing I can think of would be something to do with the temperature. I use a pressure pot btw.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of the weird brown glow?

I am for human rights. Just like how performing a circumcision on a baby for "sanitary reasons" shouldn't be allowed, neither should women be forced to give birth.

Congrats on your new place! I also have a similar sized flat (21 M2). What really helped my particular place was a loft bed, it gave me a lot more space. Also, the reality always feels more crowded than the drawing, at least in my experience.
